I know about Saint Seiya, but honestly never looked into it.
Here is the awesome cosplayer I admired for few years now~
her name is SARA: [link]
[link]
Just follow the "next" links or click on "Hades"~
you'll see a bunch of really pretty cosplay photos~ ^__^
SARA usually does really good job on rendering her cosplay photo shoots. As I looked through more of the Hades cosplay, I realized the hair style is different (Saint Seiya Hades has long hair in the back, MYth Hades has short hair) but still....some of the photos look JUST LIKE MY HADES~~ XD!!!
....I can just lie to myself and imagine SARA was cosplaying my Hades... (yah, right!)
btw, anyone read/watch Saint Seiya? What is this "Lost Canvas" chapter all about? (or what is Saint Seiya all about...XD?) I am curious now.... a war between Hades and Athena?

I plan on attending artist alley at Anime Expo this year (plan, plan, plan...)
but since it'll be my first time, I don't know what to sell.
For sure I will be bringing the rest of MYth: My Seasons books, and it'll come with blank cover art postcards. I will probably be making some keychains, small quantity because it'll be done by hand.
But! the main thing is prints.
and I don't know what artworks I should create.
I have thought about making a series of artworks based on a certain group of things (such as zodiac, seasons, etc) OR a few works based on each of my original stories (ROF, ROT, MYth, and MADAM)
If I create works from my original stories, I'll probably put them all together into an artbook as well.
Anyway, all of this is still UNSURE, so I need your suggestions:
1. What kind of artworks would you buy from me as prints?
2. What artwork would you like to see made into keychains?
3. Another thing I would like to know is how much are you willing to pay for a special desk calendar? ($8~$10, $11~$15, $16~$20)
Thank you in advance for taking the time to reply.
It'll help me a lot

While the Classic Saint Seiya Series covers 3-4 chapters/stories (Uprising in Sanctuary and Return of Athena, War with Poseidon and Athena vs Hades plus War with Asgard Warrior which is Anime only) happening in 1986, The Lost Canvas is about the previous Holy War when Hades try to take over the world again in the 18th Centuary Europe.
Ya, it's a great read IMHO but then again, I had been a fan of Saint Seiya since the Manga get released in my country in 1990 so took to it like Fish to Water.
I watched the anime like 10000 times when I was in high school, because it had many mythological references.
Saint Seiya is basically the story of Athena and her warriors (called Saints) who protect Earth from other gods. First Poseidon, then Hades. I think they are or will be doing more gods in the future. The main character is Seiya (hence the title) the Saint of the constellation of Pegasus.
Lost Canvas is a story about the previous war of Hades vrs Athena. (Me likes it more than original work)
mm... small things usually sell better than big things at cons... like keychains, bookmarks, postcards... just ahve a few prints ready for those who are willing to buy prints. annddd set up commissions while you're there : D ppl like to commission artists at con it seems
I think it was basically about these three childhood friends- one was destined to be Hades, the other was like, Athena or someone on the other side of the spectrum. They grow up and eventually go to the war with each other (Hades Vs. Athena + the other childhood friend).
There's like powerful armor involved and many level ups. It's a very nicely drawn manga but the story left me kind of confused. : )
Ooh, I wish I could buy some of your artwork TT_TT.
i love this anime/manga!!
Is it true you don't know it??
However....
Saint Seya manga and anime talk about a group of knight who fight for Athena and the world's peace.
In Lost Canvas there is also Hades, who (poor him!) is the bad guy.
