Looking at this piece I had to think back to the time when a dear friend was still alive (before the cancer got her this February). She truly was fond of the Greek mythology so she would have loved this picture of Thanatos. He was always one of her favorites – and in the end he got her, like she always predicted.

Thank you for this beautiful piece of art and the memories it just gave back to me.
