Why does he have to marry Hera! Metis is a lot beautiful, kind and generous than her. She's beautiful, yes but always jealous

Zeus ate Metis because of a prophecy that a son of he and Metis would over throw him. Eventually Athena was born from Zeus' skull after it was split open by Hephaestus with an axe. He tried to court Hera but failed, so he turned himself into a limp cuckoo. Hera felt sorry for the 'bird' and held it to her breast to comfort it. Zeus took his human form and took advantage of Hera's surprise and raped her, so she married him to cover her shame. So you can understand why she's always 'jealous'. She doesn't have affairs like her husband because she's the goddess of marriage. Hope I helped. Personally, she's one of my favourite goddesses. (:

Well Zeus ate Metis, but fell in love with Hera, who doesn't ant to be bad, but Zeus made her baddest sides to came to the shore. Everyone have heard the story of Heracles and think she is bad, but she isn't. Just that child was he last drop.
